so, today is shaping up to be a big day for desmoinesalive.com…we got interviewed last week by a guy from the Des Moines Register, and this week the article is in the DateBook, a section of the Register that comes out every Thursday…you can read the article here, but if you live in Des Moines, you should go get a copy of the DateBook so you can see the awesome picture of us, hahaha…also, because of the article, derek and i finally finished up our redesign of truespin-media.com, so you can also go there and check out our latest and greatest work…today is the start of big, big things!!!

my quest for the elusive krausburger

during the last year of my working, i’ve been introduced to the mysterious and neurotic creature they call kraus…
although difficult to capture in the wild, my corporate zoo has tamed one into occupying cell3 from 8:45-5:30ish daily…during this time, i’ve learned much about this creature, from the odd to the downright disturbing…
however, the biggest mystery of the kraus remains its diet consisting solely of krausburgers, cooked to perfection on its george foreman grill and devoured while lying on the couch and watching twins games…this culinary delight does not make your stomach sing the blues, or otherwise affect your sunny disposition in any way…now i have looked all over the greater des moines area to find one of these delicious meals, but my quest has so far remained fruitless…alas, i may never get to experience this modern culinary wonder called the krausburger myself, and thus discover the mystery of all that is kraus…

so, i still have my job, which i am extremely happy about…not that i was all that worried, but still, anything could happen…plus, all of cell6 still has their jobs, so that is good too, because work would be much more boring without them…
