if, round 2

Jan

k, its time for another of my famous “if” questions…get ready

Question: If you were to have the voice of one media personality, whose would it be?

now, if you will, listen with me here…you hear a strong, confident, silky-smooth voice, one that enunciates clearly, yet has that touch of flair you like to hear…he brings you the information you need most…the movie showtimes for your area! thats right, i’m talking about mr moviefone

if i could have any media personality’s voice, it would be Mr. Russ Leatherman…i mean, what a cool freakin job…you just get to read movie times and sound all cool…plus his voice just rocks, everytime i called, i just wanted to keep listening to the movie times and forget going to see that movie…sometimes i would have conversations with russ, we would talk about my day, and what i was going to do that night…err, nevermind that

anyway, what do you guys think? whose voice would you like to have?

my first if…

Jan
23

some of you may have noticed that i have not been updating my site very frequently lately, or at all…i’ve come up with an idea to remedy that, i’m going to try it out for a few weeks, if it works, i’ll keep it, otherwise no harm done…nicole has this book called “If…” that is full of “questions for the game of life”…i’ve decided to randomly select a question every week, and write my thoughts about it…might be kinda lame, but i haven’t been writing at all, so it can’t be much worse…k, here goes

Question: If you had to name the single most important duty of a parent, what would you say it is?

Alright, we are starting off with a sweet parental question…way to go, random selection! i generally try not to think about parenting, unless i’m thinking of how to never be one…i would say the most important duty of a parent is to provide their children with a nurturing and caring upbringing…this includes teaching your kids the rights and wrongs of the world, teaching them that differences should be celebrated and not shunned, or just teaching them how to be decent people…too many children grow up in broken homes, where parents care more about themselves and their problems, rather than caring about where their kids are or what they are doing…

so, that is the end of my thoughts on that…guess there is a reason i shouldn’t be a parent, haha…if anybody else has any thoughts, lets hear em…
