weekend was busy, busy, busy…friday night we went out to dinner with chad and kallie to Claxon’s in altoona, and me and nicole were quite unimpressed with the food…later, i went out with derek, kevi and zatch to Stix in ankeny, and played some chutes and ladders to and from the bar…saturday was a trip to the art fest, which was a little disappointing to me this year…it was really hot, and i really didn’t see a whole lot i liked, and what i did see was a little expensive for my taste…saturday night was off to norwalk for some poker and swimming, where brian and i ruled at putting out the tiki torches by the pool with water guns…sunday was the pioneer picnic at Adventureland, which wasn’t too bad…me and nicole rode the tornado, played a ton of skeeball, and just hung out…but, Adventureland is just beginning to make me sad, cause i used to have so much fun there as a kid, but now it is just falling apart and kinda crappy…it probably always was like that, i’ve just blocked it out of my head…so, i guess the theme for the weekend was ‘Disappointment’…
adventureland etc.

Well, arguing about art was fun. I don’t know what art is. And apparently I don’t even like it. Haha.
Zach is artsier than thou.

Adventureland has always been falling apart. I thought that was part of the charm. The Tornado is thrilling mostly because it might break down at any time, and the water is so green that the fish have mutated into large sea monsters.
