we went to famous dave’s for lunch today…my call cause of the whole birthday thing (thanks guys)…
anyway, i was quite disturbed when i looked at the menu and noticed that they had changed the name of their fries from “shack fries” to “famous fries”…this shook my belief system to the very core…i’m so used to going in and ordering “bbq pulled chicken sandwich, shack fries, with a cornbread muffin” that this name change disrupted my whole meal…why they just didn’t call them “french fries” in the first place is beyond me, but whatever, my name isn’t dave and i’m not really that famous…that place kinda bugs me anyway, cause they got pictures of pigs up that have fingers and toes, and i don’t think thats entirely accurate..

well, i noticed that when the very tall, hot, dark skinned, foreign waitress was taking our orders, she was writing “SF” whenever someone ordered fries. i can only assume this stands for “Shack Fries”
… I think that the employees also feel the same way you do.
plus the pigs on the wall are usually eating pork, that is also a bit weird.

clarifications to the story:
1) it was not a semi-automatic, i was going to knife somebody with my swiss army pocketknife
2) they are still the exact same fries, just with a new name to apparently reflect their popularity
3) SF stands for “smelly feet”…

hey, i know where babies come from…oh wait, thats a different talk, a really uncomfortable one both my parents made me go through…
the sad thing is, nicole and i have discussed the pigs at famous dave’s before…just one of those things that bothers me…i mean, c’mon, fingers and toes on pigs, thats just not natural, it really creeps me out
